 South Africa-based Ugandan socialite Zari Hassan has spoken openly about her past relationship with Tanzanian star Diamond Platnumz, setting the record straight on allegations of infidelity. Zari Hassan has opened up about her past relationship with Bongo star Diamond Platnumz. 

The mother of five revealed that during their four-year relationship, she remained completely loyal to Diamond, whom she loved dearly and believed would be her forever partner. The pair, who have two children together, Princess Tiffah and Prince Nillan, were seemingly inseparable before they finally called it quits. "The truth is, I never cheated on Diamond. For almost four years, I was ready to lose everything I have today if I lied. God is my witness; I never cheated on that man because I loved him. I wanted to build something meaningful, and I even thought it would last forever," Zari said with emotion.

Did Diamond send his mother to Zari after their breakup? 

Zari went on to accuse Diamond of cheating and tried to paint her as the middleman in the relationship. "He tried to sell the story, but it didn't work. When it became clear that he had impregnated another woman, he turned and accused me of betrayal and claimed that I loved him more than he loved me. But if you didn't love me, why was your mother calling me? Why was your manager at my house begging me to come back?" Zari questioned. How did Diamond and Zari get along? On Saturday, August 10, Diamond flew to South Africa to celebrate his daughter's birthday at Zari's mansion. The Tanzanian musician surprised his daughter, Princess Tiffah, with a gift, and the daughter admitted that she wasn't sure her father would show up. 

Zari and Diamond spent quality time with their children on the special day, but that didn't please the Ugandan businessman's husband, Shakib Lutaaya. Zari accused Shakib of being jealous and claimed that her 31-year-old husband kept asking why Diamond was at her house. 

Zari further claimed that she is the one sponsoring Shakib, a matter that sparked a discussion on social media.
